A book about fitness does not strengthen a muscle.
A course on leadership does not create a leader.
An article about gratitude does not make a person grateful.
Knowledge points the way.
Action walks the path.
The nearly dark moon overhead offers a useful image.
Most of its presence is hidden from view, yet it remains exactly where it has always been. Much of life works this way. The important changes are often invisible at first.
Character develops quietly. Trust grows slowly. Wisdom accumulates over years.
Today's challenge may not be to learn something new. It may be to practice something you already know.
The gap between knowing and doing is where much of life is won or lost.
